Control & System Integration
IFCO has a team of control system engineers, technicians, and draftsmen that have worked with all major brands and platforms of PACs and DCS control systems. Our capabilities run from individual burner control to large networked incinerator control systems with all of the major HMI platforms.
We are extremely proud of our status as an official Systems Integrator for Rockwell, Siemens, GE and Emerson. The majority of our control systems are based on the customer’s specification and we take great care to insure that our relationship with the customer is aimed at providing them the very best solution for their incinerator application.
With the latest CAD technologies we can generate quality design packages including control panel layouts, bills of material, electrical schematics, detailed functional control specifications, structured PAC and DCS programming. In our 1500 square foot UL certified panel shop we can build custom control panels to meet the client’s specifications.
Incinerator field installation is performed under the close supervision of our licensed electricians.
Our engineers can provide extensive support during the testing and debugging stages of the newly installed or retrofitted control system. Also our staff can provide on-site support for start-up and control system optimization. Finally, before turning the new control system over to the client, our engineering staff can provide an Instructor-lead “Operations and Maintenance” training classes of the newly installed control system.
Process Control & Instrumentation
IFCO has been providing expert incineration instrumentation and process control services to our clients since 1990. We have improved our customers’ processes and control systems and provided exceptional training for all aspects of instrumentation installed around the incinerator. Finally, we have established reliable calibration documentation systems and procedures to meet our customers' needs. Our efforts have resulted in cost-effective savings for our customers in multiple industries.
IFCO technicians can provide expert instrumentation installation and supervision for newly installed systems. We also perform on-site operational checks and “Point to Point” verification. Our technicians can also provide troubleshooting of pneumatic and electronic instrumentation on new and existing installations.
IFCO can provide control system retrofits for a wide range of incinerator technologies. You may have a furnace for which it is becoming more difficult to find obsolete parts, or your maintenance staff may no longer have the proper expertise in troubleshooting the older equipment. It is often the case that a control system retrofit is more cost effective than purchasing a complete new system, especially if the mechanical systems are still in good working order. We have replaced older, obsolete PAC and DCS systems. We have also relayed logic control systems and others with a brand new state of the art PAC or DCS. Hence, the customer would be getting a much easier system with less costly components to maintain. IFCO has many years of experience building systems for new incinerators and retrofitting older installations. We have the ability to customize any solution to meet the client’s needs.
