For over 50 years, the Industrial Furnace Company has been building industrial incinerators and combustion systems. It's important to note that Industrial Furnace is a sole-source supplier, taking full responsibility for all phases of every incinerator and control project. We are proud of our ability to meet the expectations and needs of customers worldwide.
We offer full capability to our customers by designing and building each system completely in-house. We can provide design engineering, equipment, installation and programming for a full range of automation systems. Projects range from converting a single device from manual to automatic (or PLC control) to providing full-scale turnkey distributed control packages for entire thermal processing systems.
In all cases we use modern up-to-date controls employing the latest available technologies in order to provide maximum performance for our customers.
A Complete Capability Partner
Industrial Furnace Company has been around a long time, and we're much more than the "bricks-and-mortar" image the company presented when it started. For more than a decade, we've been tackling worldwide projects that required extensive engineering and installation services - including control integration. And since we've become a Systems Integrator, our knowledge, experience and resources have increased incredibly and bring more technology and value-added capability to our customers.
Control and Instrumentation Services
The Integration Services division of Industrial Furnace was formed in 1992 to serve the automation market in the development of process control, manufacturing and monitoring systems -- specifically the areas of specification, design and integration.
Customer Confidence
We'll take complete responsibility for the project and meet the customer's needs and satisfaction for everything including bringing the power in (substation work, medium voltage). We are a UL-approved shop for general purpose and flame safety so we build all control panels in house. We do our own engineering, programming, manufacturing and installation. We even provide training and startup services all the way to the very end of the project development and completion. But we don't just provide the PLC or DCS integration, we provide the complete "pipe and wire" electrical system needed from initial power in to any needed individual control stations.
Customers can have greater confidence knowing that the Industrial Furnace Company has brought all parts of the project in-house to be designed, engineered, assembled and implemented by our experts - especially on the electrical integration side.
Customer Training
When we provide customer training, our training involves the whole system. We use specific training to guarantee that the customer understands the system and that the system performs to the design of the system and meets the customer's need. Where understanding of a particular control's operation and details are needed, our training experts can provide the manufacturer's training for that equipment.
Here's what we can do:
We can provide combustion controls, incinerator controls - anything around an incinerator. If you're looking for a partner, you know that not everyone can do it and still follow the rules and regulations like the Industrial Furnace Company can.
Incineration with Energy Recovery
In many incinerator applications, it's actually possible to recover much of the energy used in operation of the incinerator and use it for other facility needs (heating, electricity generation, etc.) The Controls Services Division of Industrial Furnace Company has successfully worked with several customers to make this application a reality, leading to lower overall cost and greater productivity.
We can provide combustion controls or incinerator controls - in fact, any control needed around an incinerator. Not everyone can do it and still follow the rules and regulations for the National Fire Protection Agency code. There are a number of local and Federal regulations which apply to waste incineration and the experience and expertise of Industrial Furnace can design and implement a facility that meets them.
Incineration with energy recovery is actually the controlled combustion of waste. Heat is recovered through heat transfer into steam or hot water for process, power generation or facility heating. Or steam can be used in a combined heat and power system to generate electricity. Industrial Furnace designed and implemented waste incinerators with heat recovery are now successfully operating at several sites.
